I am a native Spanish speaker from Argentina and enjoy bringing real world experience infused with an attitude of fun to my Spanish classes at The Brighton School. I have taught Spanish at all levels from high school to preschool enrichment classes for the past 20 years. With my vast teaching and traveling experience I hope to share with my students, authentic language and cultural experiences and the joy of learning a new language!

Spanish language classes are taught weekly ranging from ½ hour pre-school classes to one hour classes for the more advanced students. The program starts by familiarizing the children with the new sounds and the basics of a language. Simple vocabulary is introduced and modeled which is internalized and reproduced. Students will be able to form simple sentences to communicate and have basic conversations.

I feel strongly that children learn best when they feel comfortable and confident. They learn Spanish through hands on activities, games, songs, classroom interactions and role play. The culmination of the year long program is highlighted by the Spanish Fiesta. All of the students participate and friends and family are welcome to enjoy some Hispanic food and Spanish presentations by the students.
